Two Jackets Productions is a creative cooperation between Eric Carlson, Marcus Mann, and Andrew Neill. We are writers and filmmakers devoted to telling stories with impact and humor. Most of the film projects we pursue are short films; low-budget experiments in story, style, and function in a narrative form. We use these projects to hone our voice and to prepare ourselves for larger projects such as feature films. The through-line in nearly all of our work is comedy, as we believe that the best way to connect with our viewers is by making them laugh.

In that vein, we have begun podcasting as a way to keep creating even when we're between film projects. Our first effort, ShamFiction, is online now!

Through these creative endeavors, we hope to expand our audience and find a viewership via film festivals, independent distribution, and online streaming. We love film and television and are working hard to be a part of this exciting and multifaceted industry. Our vision for Two Jackets Productions is to be a producer of compelling entertainment that has an acute awareness of how their characters and situations affect the audience and the environment in which they are created. That is a complicated way of saying that we want our productions to mean something to, and have a positive impact on, their viewers.

For the time being, we will continue to podcast while we develop our larger projects. Within the next five years, we hope to be putting those projects into production and reaching larger and larger audiences. To us, a successful film is not one that earns us money or awards, but one that reaches the most people. Entertainment and enjoyment are the keys to our success.
