"You Only Die Once!" accepted to SDFF 2013

Hey folks! Andrew here...

I'm beyond pleased to announce that the Two Jackets short, "You Only Die Once!", has been selected to screen at the 2013 South Dakota Film Festival, running this year from September 26-29 at the historic Capitol Theatre in downtown Aberdeen.

As a native South Dakotan, I'm honored that our wacky, little horror/comedy/romance has been granted the privilege to screen in my home state! I have many personal ties to Aberdeen - quite a few friends and family members live in or around the area - so when the festival comes around, I aim to be present.

We'll keep you posted as to our plans. For now, we celebrate this accomplishment! After all, YOLO, right?

NOW ONLINE: Boxing with God!

Hey true believers!

Do any of you have that one friend who's unfathomably good at video games? I'm not talking about the guy who beats you 9 out of 10 times, or even 99 out of 100! I'm talking about the guy you just can't beat. No matter what. You could train under the cruel tutelage of a gaming master and still fall short of victory! Sometimes you come so close, but that stupid guy still friggen wins! It's stupid! That guy is just unbeatable! Or, maybe he's just...

Infallible!

Two Jackets is proud to present our new short, Boxing with God, for your viewing enjoyment! We made this one for last month's Directors' Workshop Feedback Film Challenge (too many words!) here in the Twin Cities. It screened at the Trylon Microcinema on June 27th and was met with much delight! Now we hope it will delight you (and make you want a cookie - or three)!

Tell us what you thought of it on Twitter (@TwoJackets), and stay beautiful - inside and out!

Andrew

NOW ONLINE: All's Chair in Love and War

I'm excited to announce that Two Jackets' latest film, All's Chair in Love and War, is now online! Made as part of the Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project, All's Chair is about a war between two men, and a mysterious woman who changes the game. In fact, it's what some people might call a "Game of Chairs." Huh... Game of Chairs. Aw crap why didn't we call it that!? Missed opportunities...

Anyway, the required elements for this year's Minneapolis 48HFP were as follows:

Genre: Romance

Character: Bobby or Betty Bulmer, Farmer or Gardener

Prop: A Lamp

Line of Dialogue: "She told me it's a secret."

Enjoy!

With Love,

Eric
